Oma and Opa came to visit

When Oma and Opa come to visit we always get a family picture. Dad is always so good about getting us all together for a family picture. So here are some of the pictures he took of us as a new family of 6. They stayed for over a week and spoiled the girls with love and attention. The girls had so much fun with their Oma and Opa and Claire was heartbroken when they left. After they left Claire held it together until I started putting away the trundle bed that Mom and Dad used. She broke down in tears and I think she thought if the room stayed the same that they would come back. At lunch she tearfully asked me why it had to hurt so much in her heart when Oma and Opa left. It was so sweet and sad to see her miss her grandparents. Mom and dad even gave Jason and I a date night while they watched the kids and put them to bed. We enjoy having them visit and we all miss them when they go. I was not great about taking pictures but I managed to get a few of their time here.

Luke is only 3 weeks old in this picture.

Luke is 1 month

My sweet son is growing and changing. He is up to 10 lbs 10 oz now and getting more interactive. He does well having his sister pet, hold, touch, kiss, and hug him throughout the day. It's a good thing he is laid back; that will come in handy as he deals with the drama of 3 older sisters. He just started sleeping 8 hours through the night to show his mommy how much he loves her :) I have been enjoying my little man so much and look forward to each new day with him.
